A return to form and guaranteed crowd pleaser wrapped in one, Sulta’s highly awaited new single is out on all platforms on November 10.
While it’s been years since Denis Sulta’s last release, the meantime has seen the Glasgow-born, Liverpool-based musician become one of the most prominent DJs in the global clubbing circuit. In the past 18 months, he has made stops everywhere from EXIT Festival in Serbia and the iconic Creamfields in the UK, to top global clubbing destinations like Bassiani in Tbilisi, world renown festival Awakenings, and Space in Miami. Sulta also hosted his very own Sulta Selects at Ibiza’s illustrious Amnesia and the now-defunct yet forever legendary Printworks in London, for the club’s closing series. His dynamic sets have not only mesmerised live audiences worldwide but have also translated into a tremendous online presence, with his Boiler Room performance garnering over 1 million streams in its first month, making it the most-streamed Boiler Room set of the year. With “World of Flies”, fans see Sulta take the lessons learned at these clubbing institutions and celebrated festivals back to the studio, churning out a new flavour of heat from his already proven production palette.
“I didn’t have the confidence to do this before,” explains Hector Barbour, aka Denis Sulta. “I’m now starting ideas on the piano more and I’ve got a new found confidence to use my own vocals on tracks, it feels like I’m writing fully-fledged songs. I started playing the track out and it just had this huge reaction. Everyone was asking where the vocal on the track was from and I was like, ‘It’s me!’”
“World of Flies” hits streaming services following recent head turning performances at Amsterdam Dance Event and at The Warehouse Project’s Halloween bonanza. Symbolic of Denis Sulta’s return to the studio, "World of Flies" is officially out everywhere on November 10.
